Randy Gardner
Randy Gardner is the company’s founder and owner. He came to Southern California from Eastern Canada for a two-week vacation and $300 in his pocket and never left (or so the story goes). Shortly after he arrived, he met his wife Renee and they moved to Rancho Santa Margarita in 1988 to start their family. Randy has been plumbing for the better part of 40 years and in his free time loves to flip houses and float on his pontoon boat in Lake Arrowhead.

Rolando Palafox,
Plumbing Foreman
Rolando Palafox has been here at Santa Margarita Plumbing for 17 years and was introduced to SMP by his brother Rene. Rolando recently moved into a new house in Corona with his wife and two children. In his free time, Rolando is an avid soccer player and runner, having completed his first marathon this past year in San Diego.
Austin Gardner,
Field Technician
Austin Gardner started with Santa Margarita Plumbing after graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in Business Communications and an emphasis in International Business. He is an integral part of the creation of PipeGuard, SMP's industrial services arm. When he's not working at SMP, Austin likes spending time cheering on the Arizona State Sun Devils and beating his dad on the golf course.
Jesus “Jesse” Gonzalez, HVAC Specialist
Jesus “Jesse” Gonzalez is Santa Margarita Plumbing’s go-to air conditioning technician. He's been with SMP for eight years and lives with his wife and three children in Azusa. He loves plumbing and air conditioning and in his free time loves to play soccer.
Ruben Ibanez-Hernandez,
Field Technician
Ruben Ibanez Hernandez is the newest addition to Santa Margarita Plumbing, with this year being his first. He lives in Riverside with his wife and two children. While not at work, Ruben loves to spend time with his family, lift weights, and play soccer.
